Richard Bakewell, an award-winning Director, Producer, and Director of Photography, graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2003. In 2004 Richard founded the film and television company LIGHTFORCE PICTURES.
Richard has spent the last 20 years working as a Director, Producer, and Director of Photography for commercials, branded content, narrative films, corporate, music videos, and documentaries. Richard and his Production Team have received over 124 Awards commending their work in Film & Television.
Richard is a member of the PGA, ICG, DSC, IDA, SOC, & the ATAS and currently co-producing LIFE AFTER THE GOONIES and LIFE AFTER GREASE. Some of Richard's latest work includes the rock n roll documentary LINDA PERRY: LET IT DIE HERE which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, a MSNBC documentary about LGBTQ discrimination in the military called SERVING IN SECRET, and the Award Winning 1980s Psychological Sci-Fi Thriller Roswell Delirium that premiered in December at the Culver City Film Festival and won GRAND PRIZE. Since its premiere, ROSWELL DELIRIUM has now won an astounding 101 Awards and counting.
